I have done volunteer work in the past and I have always found it very rewarding. In the last seven years, I have been very busy with work and have not had much of an opportunity to do much except donate blood/plasma. Because of this, I have felt compelled to donate money instead to help those who do volunteer and the organizations who are working so hard to help so many people in need. Sometimes, it only takes knowing where to look to notify a nonprofit, business, church, etc. that one has interest in volunteer work or interest in donating goods or money. Below are some websites that will provide excellent information about volunteerism and the opportunities that may be available and will work with your interests and schedule.

If you find you have interest in another county besides Milwaukee, just do a google search! Example: Volunteering in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.. so many websites come up...
