Mitchell Park Conservatory and Milwaukee Domes Art Festival, August 19th-21st
Have you ever been to the Mitchell Park Conservatory a.k.a. "The Domes"? Well, here is an opportunity to visit the three beautiful buildings which house a "desert dome", "tropical dome" and a "floral show dome". Before or after walking through the domes, make sure to take time to visit the 2nd annual Milwaukee Domes Art Festival as well. This is the second year and I was there to celebrate the first year. There were magnificant artists, excellent food and live entertainment. This year artists will be participating in Plein Air painting. There are 15 artists partcipating and will be painting somewhere on the 65 acre site. They will have Friday and Saturday to work on their paintings and then on Sunday there will be an online auction.
